Learn to Code Quickly with Online Courses

Sole Proprietors and Small CPA Firms Should Learn to Code!

Investing the time to learn even a basic knowledge of code and coding can be very helpful. Not only will you be able to communicate your needs more effectively to developers and get better and more efficient results, but you’ll be more self-sufficient.

Code for Power

Being able to make small tweaks on your own website, rather than having to hire a developer, will save you a lot of money in the long run.

Here are a few online programs training courses and, before you know it, you will be doing your own tweaks and maintenance on your website.

1. Coursera: Courses are taught by professors from 62 top universities, and are offered in five different languages.

2. Codecademy: A simple platform that uses relevant examples so you can easily apply what you learn.

3. Khan Academy: This learning hub’s tutorials are based on learning through exploration, rather than guided lesson. You can also communicate with other users to learn even more from their discoveries and mistakes.

4. General Assembly: Basically a video game that’s actually productive, GA’s Dash platform teaches users to code through fun games and projects.

5. Udacity: Free and paid online learning for web development, iOS and Android development and data science. Nanodegrees from $199 per month.  They also offer a set of Nonodegrees built in partnership with companies like Google that guarantee a job in six months or your money back.  What a great offer!

Note:  I personally manage my own WordPress themed websites and have done my own coding for the last four years.  I am self-taught and have learned much of what I know through several of the above listed sites.  I can’t imagine how much I have saved these past four years.  You can check out my 3 sites by following these links:
